Transitioning to Fall: Knits & Shrugs

Transitioning seasons is one of the most fun, and sometimes stressful, times. You’ve spent the past 3-4 months stocking up on summer favorites, only to have to start thinking about fall pieces. Today I have put together a transition outfit featuring Windsor items.

Windsor Fall Shrug

1. Knit Cropped Top
The cropped factor makes this perfect for warmer weather, but the knit gives it the fall look. Mixing staples from both seasons makes for the perfect transition piece. I also think this would look so cute with a leather skirt or high-waisted denim.

2. Oxblood Shrug
Oxblood was huge last season, and I don’t see it going away anytime soon. I absolutely love this lightweight shrug. It’s so comfortable and I’m seriously contemplating buying more colors. It’s the perfect coverage when it’s just a little chilly outside, but you don’t want to overdo it.

3. High-waisted shorts
Ohio is still in the awkward hot-in-the-day-cold-at-night phase, so I went with shorts. If it’s cooler where you are, try some high-waisted denim.

I totally agree – transitioning is stressful! Especially when it’s cool in the mornings and warm in the afternoons. You look great! New follower here – love it!
